Who are we?

St. John's Church Centre exists to serve the people of the Parish. It is a place where people can meet - some come to worship God; to serve Jesus Christ and to enjoy social events. By Christian tradition we are Church of England (Anglican).

We are a member of the Seven Kings Fellowship of Churches with Seven Kings United Free Church, St. Teresa's (Catholic), Seven Kings Methodist and St. Peter's Aldborough Hatch (C of E). During the year we meet together for special services and activities.

A person's entry into the church family is by the sacrament of baptism. We seek to make our worship relevant and to present Jesus as the Living Saviour. In recent years, we have become more evangelical in the style and content of preaching and teaching. In our services we use traditional and contemporary Christian music.

We believe that God loves us and meets the needs of each one of us. We desire to share the truth of God's love with as many people as possible. We believe that as individuals put their faith in Jesus they can find true meaning and purpose in life.
