Sunday Services

8:00 am - A short service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer

10:00 am - Parish Communion using Common Worship, including hymns and a sermon. Once a month there are prayers for healing prior to the Communion. The Church Choir accompanies the worship.

We use music from various sources in our worship, e.g. Spring Harvest etc, but our main hymn books are 'Songs of Fellowship' and 'Hymns Old and New'.

During the Communion Service, children meet in the halls for Bible-based activities. Children's groups are:

There is a crèche for children under three years during the 10:00 am Communion service.

An All-Age Service is held on the 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month. This is an informal service of worship and teaching. Contemporary Christian songs are used along with traditional hymns.

Refreshments are served after the 10:00 am Sunday service.

6:30 pm - Evening prayer. A service of hymns, Psalms, prayers and teaching.

A Hymn Service takes place on the 1st Sunday in the month. This is an informal service of worship with people providing short talks to introduce each hymn or song.

We encourage lay participation in reading lessons and leading intercessions.
