What has been your favourite journey? Last year – going to California with some colleagues from college.

Apart from the Bible, which book(s) have influenced you deeply? Not sure how to answer this one. There are many books I have read partly or otherwise. I have like some books by Jeff Lucas (an Ilford boy if you did not know – went to Loxford School). I think some of Tom Wright’s books (Bishop of Durham) are excellent. I have also read a book by Laurence Rees called the ‘The Nazis’. It accompanied the BBC TV documentary series. Excellent piece of historical reflection. Affected me deeply.

What is your favourite hymn(s) or worship songs? "Great is thy faithfulness", "There is none like you", "All Heaven Declares", "And Can it Be" and "Just as I am"

On what occasion has a part of the Bible inspired or guided you? What part and why? Ephesians 6:12 – when Paul states that we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world. When I read that I am reminded that the Lord has placed me on this earth to engage in a spiritual battle (one that I often neglect). It reminds me of the constant struggle that I face and that I often miss the mark since I am struggling with and against flesh and blood. This scripture inspires me to pray and pray diligently.
